Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter will be a free agent this winter and insists that he wasn't thinking about his future during the postseason.
New York was eliminated by Texas on Friday night.
"You're trying to come back, trying to win the game," Jeter said. "It would have been unfair for me to be thinking about it. We lost and it feels bad. I'm not sitting here thinking about my future."
Jeter hit .250 with two RBI and 10 strikeouts in the playoffs.
