The Diamondbacks are giving Kirk Gibson a shot at managing the team for a full season. Arizona removed the interim tag from Gibson's title on Monday as expected. He signed a two-year deal with a team option for 2013. Gibson was promoted from bench coach when the Diamondbacks fired manager A.J. Hinch on July 2.
