The White Sox have moved Jose Contreras to the bullpen after he lasted less than three innings on Monday night. Contreras is 5-12 this season and failed to pitch at least five innings in four of his last five starts. Now Chicago must decide if Jake Peavy is ready to take the open spot in the rotation. "He's a Cy Young Award winner," pitching coach Don Cooper told the Chicago Tribune. "A Cy Young Award winner when he's healthy is better than any option you might have. But I don't know if he's just there yet." Other options are Triple-A Charlotte starters Carlos Torres and Daniel Hudson.
