Boston pitching coach John Farrell isn't concerned with Josh Beckett's recent struggles.
?For the majority of the season, he?s been so dominant in the bottom of the strike zone,? Farrell said. ?Now, every effort is being made to get him down in the zone again. Even with the velocity that he?s currently pitching with, a hitter doesn?t have to work as they did before to elevate a baseball. With the power he?s supplying, if a hitter just makes solid contact, it?s got an opportunity to travel quite a ways.?
