The Rangers did not come to terms on a contract with top pick Matt Purke prior to yesterday's midnight deadline. Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com reported the news. "Hearing Rangers' top pick Matt Purke did not come to terms. Waiting to find out for sure, but looks like he might be TCU-bound," Mayo wrote on his Twitter page.
