The Blue Jays haven't ruled out making an offer to Manny Ramirez in the coming weeks. "I've known him since he was 15, and I've liked him since he was 15. I also like a lot of other players that we're probably not going to get. As far as the talent goes, he's a very talented player. Who knows where it goes from there?" Toronto GM J.P. Ricciardi said. Ramirez, who is seeking $20 million per season, might end up costing too much for the Jays. "That's all stuff we'd have to do a lot of homework on. We're not even close to doing that stuff," Ricciardi added.
