Tigers manager Jim Leyland has been suspended for one game by Major League Baseball. Leyland was cited for inappropriate and aggressive conduct during the bottom of the third inning of Monday's game against Tampa Bay. He was ejected during an argument in which Leyland said he accidentally sprayed second base umpire Marty Foster with sunflower seeds.

Phillies manager Charlie Manuel has been suspended for one game for making contact with an umpire. Major League Baseball announced the decision on Thursday. The incident took place in the top of the 10th inning during Tuesday's 9-6 victory over the Reds in Cincinnati.
