1. (1) Los Angeles Angels: The Angels have everything they need to go all the way and will still be looking for that big bat before July 31st.
2. (2) Boston Red Sox: Curt Schilling nearly pitched a no-hitter on Thursday, but more importantly he helped them bust a four-game losing streak.
3. (4) Cleveland Indians: The Indians were the victims of Homer Bailey?s first big league win this past week.
4. (7) Detroit Tigers: The Tigers won two out of three against the Mets in what was very nearly last season?s World Series.
5. (3) New York Mets: The Mets have been looking flat of late, being swept by the Phillies at Shea.
6. (6) San Diego Padres: The Padres were swept at home by the surging Mariners (all were one-run games), but their sweep of the rival Dodgers was enough to keep them stationary.
7. (9) Arizona Diamondbacks: Unit defeated Matsuzaka on Sunday to avoid the weekend sweep. Johnson is only a six-inning pitcher, but he has only given up five total runs in his last five starts.
8. (11) Seattle Mariners: Seattle has been red hot lately, making the top-three of the AL West as good as the top three of any division.
9. (10) Atlanta Braves: The Braves received a gift from Ted Lilly and the umpiring crew on Sunday.
10. (5) Los Angeles Dodgers: The Dodgers had a rough week being swept by San Diego and losing two out of three versus Toronto.
11. (8) Milwaukee Brewers: Prince Fielder and J.J. Hardy are still delivering.
12. (14) Oakland Athletics: The A?s dominated Boston and embarrassed the Giants this past week.
13. (21) New York Yankees: After winning six in a row, the Yankees are now just one game under .500 and back in the playoff races.
14. (13) Philadelphia Phillies: The Phillies gained a lot of confidence with their sweep of the Mets. Good teams don?t give up 17 runs to the Royals though.
15. (16) Toronto Blue Jays: The Blue Jays have struggled to piece together an extended winning streak, but are winning more series match-ups than they are losing.
16. (15) Minnesota Twins: The Twins have fallen on hard times, losing two out of three to the Nationals, Angels and Athletics.

18. (19) Colorado Rockies: The Rockies may not fill stadiums are bring a great deal of fear, but they consistently find ways to win.
19. (20) Baltimore Orioles: Baltimore has been on a bad skid as they have struggled to find ways to score runs.
20. (22) St. Louis Cardinals: The Cardinals are clawing to salvage their season. Pujols hit two homers on Sunday versus the Angels.
21. (12) San Francisco Giants: Their cross-bay rivals shutout the club on Saturday and Sunday.
22. (17) Chicago White Sox: The fire sale talk keeps building.
23. (23) Tampa Bay Devil Rays: James Shields is 6-0, with a 3.04 ERA and a sub-1.00 WHIP, anchoring a developing pitching staff along with Scott Kazmir. David Price may be joining them by the end of the season.
24. (24) Chicago Cubs: After a slow start, Alfonso Soriano is now hitting over .300 and had three homers in four innings on Friday night.
25. (26) Houston Astros: The Astros have been on one of the lifeless teams in the entire MLB.

28. (25) Pittsburgh Pirates: The Pirates welcomed Roger Clemens return with the Yankees and treated them to a sweep.
