The Milwaukee Brewers and shortstop J.J. Hardy agreed to terms on a one-year deal on Friday allowing the parties to avoid arbitration, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "We reached out and made one last pitch before we had to get on a plane," General Manager Doug Melvin told the Sentinel. "We came up a little bit with our offer, and they accepted."
