The Marlins on Thursday signed infielder Dallas McPherson to a one-year contract, as reported by Yahoo.com. Financial terms were not disclosed. The 27-year old McPherson, who missed the entire 2007 season following back surgery in January, batted .247 with 18 home runs and 45 RBI in 117 games for the Angels over parts of three seasons.
