His ERA placed him third in the league while his 12 wins were tied for fourth. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder from La Romana, Dominican Republic, is currently pitching for Azucareros in the Dominican Winter League and is 0-1 with a 3.60 ERA in four games. The 27-year old Tupman is a left-handed hitting, right-handed throwing catcher who spent the entire 2007 season at Triple-A Omaha.
