Mets Gold Glove third baseman David Wright said he is not insulted by the suggestion he would have to move to another position should his team sign free-agent Alex Rodriguez.
"That's what I love about playing in New York," Wright said this afternoon during an appearance at New York University Medical Center's Acute Care Pediatric Unit. "Nobody is going to care next year if I won a Gold Glove or a Silver Slugger Award. They only care about winning here.
"I don't take it personally. It's not a slap in the face to me."
