The San Francisco Giants and right-hander Tyler Mahle are in agreement on a one-year deal, a source confirmed to ESPN on Wednesday.

Mahle, 31, was one of baseball's best starters for the Texas Rangers in 2025, posting a career-best 2.18 ERA. But a shoulder injury shelved him for three months, limiting him to 16 starts. He finished 6-4 with 66 strikeouts to 29 walks across 86⅔ innings.
