Noah Syndergaard will attempt a comeback for the 2025 season.

Syndergaard has not pitched professionally since he was released by the Cleveland Guardians at the end of last August.

The right-hander hasn't been the same since undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2020. His velocity never returned, although he managed to post a 3.94 ERA in 134 2/3 innings between the Los Angeles Angels and Philadelphia Phillies in 2022.

He struggled for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Guardians last season, posting a combined 6.50 ERA over 88 2/3 innings.
