The San Francisco Giants are exploring the trade market for a shortstop, according to a report.

Brandon Crawford, 37, is coming off a down season that was plagued by injury.

The Giants have top prospect Marco Luciano, who made his Major League debut in 2023. Luciano has played in just 56 games at the Double-A level and 13 in Triple-A.

Elvis Andrus, Tim Anderson and Amed Rosario are the top shortstops on the free agent market.

Willy Adames and Ha-Seong Kim could be available in trades.
