Aaron Judge didn't play in the New York Yankees' 4-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday night, a day after crashing through the right-field gate at Dodger Stadium during a phenomenal over-the-shoulder catch.

Aaron Boone said Judge's right foot, mostly in the area of his big toe, was too sore to play.

Judge "seemed a little bit better this afternoon," Boone added, but keeping him out of the lineup Sunday allows them to take advantage of Monday's off day and give Judge back-to-back days off his feet.

Judge said after Sunday's game that not playing "was a little precautionary" and added that he's "a little sore."
