The Pittsburgh Pirates are discussing a long-term contract extension with Mitch Keller, according to a report.

Keller is scheduled to become a free agent after the 2025 season.

Within the last 13 months, the Pirates have locked up Ke'Bryan Hayes and Bryan Reynolds with long-term deals.

"I've only been with Pittsburgh, so it's all I really know," Keller said. "I'd love to spend my whole career here, hopefully as long as possible. Having guys like (Hayes) and Reynolds locked up, it's really cool to see some core guys getting locked in. I would love to be a part of that."
