Representatives for Carlos Correa have "renewed contact with at least another interested team or two beyond the [New York] Mets" after the two sides reportedly reached a 12-year, $315 million agreement last month, according to a report.
That agreement came after a nixed $13-year, $350 million deal with the San Francisco Giants.
Both deals didn't materialize for the same reason -- a medical concern over a lower right leg/ankle injury from 2014, when Correa was in the Minor Leagues.
