Nathan Eovaldi remains a free agent but those in the industry believe he'll ultimately re-sign with the Boston Red Sox.

According to a report, there's "pretty good confidence on the part of a lot of people in baseball" that Eovaldi will return to Boston.

The Red Sox are trying to regroup after losing Xander Bogaerts and J.D. Martinez in free agency.

They've signed Japanese outfielder Masataka Yoshida and Justin Turner.
