The New York Mets are looking for pitching and Jameson Taillon is one of the players the club has been in touch with since free agency opened, according to a report.

Taillon, 31, is a free agent for the first time in his career. He's spent the last two seasons with the New York Yankees, including a strong 2022 campaign with a 3.91 ERA and 151 strikeouts in 177.1 innings

The Yankees didn't issue a qualifying offer to Taillon.
