The Texas Rangers have offered Martin Perez a two-year contract with an option for the 2025 season, according to a report.

While the two sides aren't believed to be very far apart on a new deal, Texas is also expected to extend the one-year, $19.65 million qualifying offer to Perez.

Perez, 31, had a 2.89 ERA and 169 strikeouts in 196.1 innings this season.
