The biggest issue in talks between the Atlanta Braves and Freddie Freeman on a long-term deal is whether or not the first baseman will get a sixth year in the agreement, according to a report.

The situation remains fluid and the Braves are still the favorite to sign Freeman, who helped lead them to a World Series title this season.

A six-year deal would bring Freeman through his age-37 season.

The eight-year, $135 million extension Freeman just completed is the largest contract in franchise history.
