The New York Mets have fallen from first to third place in the National League East amid a recent slide.
New York is 2-7 since the trade deadline and 9-15 since the All-Star break. Despite the skid, they have no plans to fire Luis Rojas, according to a report.
"Although the Mets have fallen to third place with a 9-15 second half, a source familiar with Steve Cohen's thinking said the owner is not holding the manager responsible for the poor play," writes Joel Sherman.
