Austin Meadows is "in a pretty good spot right now" with the Tampa Bay Rays set to begin the ALDS against the New York Yankees on Monday night, according to Kevin Cash.

Despite that, the Rays are holding off on announcing whether he will be on the team's roster when the series begins.

Meadows has been on the injured list since Sept. 18 with a Grade 2 left oblique strain. He has participated in team workouts in recent days.

After a breakout 2019 season, Meadows hit .205/.296/.371 with four homers in 36 games played this year.
