Francisco Lindor has been rumored in trade talks ever since the Cleveland Indians dealt away Corey Kluber earlier this offseason.

Lindor has two years of club control remaining. He's arbitration-eligible in 2021 and set to become a free agent in 2022.

At the Indians' Tribe Fest on Saturday, Lindor addressed his future.

"If they don't think I can stay here because of the money situation then I won't be here, but I do want to be in Cleveland," he said. "I love the Cleveland Indians, I love the Cleveland fans. This city has grown on me a lot.

"I'm just glad I'm here. I'm enjoying the ride. I'm enjoying the time I'm here with the guys. I love Cleveland. This is a home, you know. This is a great city, great fans, and we have a good team, a great group of guys. And the front office is good, the coaching staff is good. I love it here. It is where I came up. I'm extremely comfortable here. I am not not opposed to anything. Like I said, make sure you guys right it, I would love to be here in Cleveland."

Lindor and the Indians avoided arbitration this offseason by agreeing to a one-year, $17.5 million deal.
