Major League Baseball investigated concerns and doesn't believe the Houston Astros used wearable, concealed devices to aid in their sign-stealing methods.

An MLB official said the inquiry into wearable devices included the 2019 season.

Concerns were raised after replays of Jose Altuve's walk-off home run in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series against the New York Yankees showed the infielder grabbing his jersey to avoid it being torn off or ripped open by teammates as he crossed home plate.

In response to speculation that he did not want his jersey removed because he was wearing an electronic device, Altuve released a statement through his agent, Scott Boras.

"I have never worn an electronic device in my performance as a major league player," the statement read.
