The New York Yankees are looking for a pitching coach and interviewed David Cone for the job, according to a report.

The Yankees fired Larry Rothschild last month.

Cone met with Brian Cashman, Aaron Boone and other members of the front office for several hours last week.

He is a veteran of 17 Major League seasons.
