Fears that the Dominican Republic would suffer an emotional or physical letdown on Saturday were quickly erased at the Caribbean Series.
Once again, Tony Batista provided the heroics for the Dominican's Aguilas Cibaenas squad in a 9-0 win over Mexico at Roberto Clemente Walker Stadium.
The 33-year-old Batista delivered two home runs, including a disputed inside-the-park trek, to help power Aguilas to its second straight win.
