There are conflicting reports on how long of a contract the Chicago White Sox are willing to offer Bryce Harper and/or Manny Machado this offseason.

Jeff Passan of ESPN reported the White Sox may be willing to go ten-plus years, but Bruce Levine of 670 The Score reports that Chicago won't go more than seven years for either player.

An industry source told Levine that reports of the White Sox offering ten-plus years to Machado or Harper are "without any substance and flat out wrong."

If Chicago isn't willing to go seven-plus years, they'll likely sit back and wait for free agency in 2020.
