Amid trade rumors, Brian Cashman made it clear on Tuesday that Gary Sanchez will be the lead catcher for the New York Yankees "moving forward."

The Yankees have been linked to J.T. Realmuto in trade rumors with the Miami Marlins.

"It would be hard not to have Gary Sanchez as our catcher," Cashman said. "He's certainly someone that we've invested in and believe in and expect to be a part of this place moving forward."
