Major League Baseball and the Korean Baseball Organization have agreed to a revised posting system that allows players to move to the United States before they are free-agent eligible, according to a report.

The new agreement runs through Oct. 31, 2021.

Under the previous system, when a KBO team posted a player for MLB clubs before he reached free agency, they'd inform MLB and all interested teams would submit a blind bid. If the KBO club deemed the highest bid suitable, that MLB team would have a 30-day window to negotiate a contract.
