Mookie Betts has maintained his stance that he won't discuss a contract extension with the Boston Red Sox during the season.

"Everything is exactly the same," Betts said. "Nothing going on."

The Red Sox agreed to in-season, long-term deals with Josh Beckett and Dustin Pedroia in recent years.

Betts will be eligible for free agency after the 2020 season, having already set an arbitration record with his $10.5 million payday for 2018.
