The Chicago White Sox have announced that Danny Farquhar has been discharged from RUSH University Medical Center.
The right-hander won't pitch again this season, but his neurosurgeon expects that he'll be able to return to pitching in the future.
Farquhar, 31, collapsed in the dugout following a relief appearance last month. He was rushed to the hospital, where it was determined that he'd suffered a brain hemorrhage due to a ruptured brain aneurysm.
