Gabe Kapler and the Philadelphia Phillies haven't had the best start to the season, but the new manager remains confident about 2018.

Kapler has been criticized for multiple decisions over the season's first weekend, including going to a position player to pitch late in Saturday's loss to the Atlanta Braves. He also pulled starter Vince Velasquez in the third inning of that game without anyone warming up in the bullpen.

After the game, Kapler took responsibility for the mistake and added that the Phillies will make the postseason this year.

The Phillies haven't finished a season above .500 since 2011.
