Edwin Encarnacion believes he will be in the lineup for the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday night when they take on the New York Yankees in Game 5 of the ALDS.

Encarnacion has missed the last two games of the series, both Cleveland losses, after landing awkwardly while retreating to second base on a line-drive double play in Game 2.

"I feel very good," he said. "I ran, I hit, and did everything we deemed necessary to evaluate if I can play tomorrow. Me being in the lineup tomorrow is what we all want; it's what I want. Tomorrow I'm coming in early to do my treatment and follow up and do everything I did today in order to be ready for the game."
