Wil Myers recorded the first cycle of both his career and the 2017 season on Monday night as the San Diego Padres defeated the Colorado Rockies 5-3.

Myers singled in the first, doubled in the third, homered in the sixth and tripled in the eighth to help the Padres win for the third time in four games.

He is just the second player to hit for the cycle in club history. Matt Kemp is the only other player to accomplish the feat with the Padres.

"Those moments don't happen very often," Andy Green said. "To see somebody get it, someone like Wil, kind of the cornerstone of your franchise, it's a lot of fun to watch."
