Brian Wilson is planning a comeback to baseball as a knuckleballer.

Wilson, who reportedly threw for at least two teams recently, hasn't pitched professionally since 2014.

"It was kinda good to lay back and figure out what I wanted," Wilson said. "It feels like a new leaf."

Wilson relied mostly on his fastball and slider previously. At 35, he's had two Tommy John surgeries.

"I always said that once my career was over I was coming back as a knuckleballer," he said. "I'm good with it. Man, I get to play a game. It's going to be pretty fun."

Wilson also sees himself transiting to a starter.
