The city of Goodyear is being pressured to secure a second team for its spring training bid. At a meeting Friday before a subcommittee of the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority, officials working to bring baseball to Goodyear were questioned on their efforts to attract a second team. City leaders also were told that Goodyear should prepare to pay more for its share of a proposed facility if Cleveland is the sole team to commit to Goodyear. The Indians recently agreed to move their spring home from Winter Haven, Fla., to Goodyear but the plan is contingent on support from the sports authority.
