The Houston Astros have agreed to a five-year, $10 million deal with Jon Singleton and are promoting him from Triple-A Oklahoma City, according to a source.

Singleton has passed a physical and the agreement will soon become official.

The contract includes three club-option years that could increase his payout to $30 million over eight years.
