The Oakland Athletics have traded Jerry Blevins to the Washington Nationals for minor league outfielder Billy Burns.

The Athletics have completed five trades in the last 10 days.

Blevins was 5-0 with a 3.15 ERA in a career-high 67 games this year for Oakland.

Burns was Washington's Minor League Player of the Year.
