The Seattle Mariners are nearing a deal with the Miami Marlins for Logan Morrison, according to a source.

Morrison, once considered one of Miami's top prospects, has been plagued by injuries over the last two seasons.

Seattle will send reliever Carter Capps to Miami to complete the deal.
