The Kansas City Royals have acquired Norichika Aoki from the Milwaukee Brewers for Will Smith.

Aoki had an OPS of .726 last season in 674 plate appearances while stealing 20 bases.

Smith, 24, went 2-1 with a 3.24 ERA in 19 appearances (18 as a reliever) for the Royals last season.
