The New York Yankees are considering runs at several big name free-agents, including new ones in Jacoby Ellsbury, Matt Garza and Stephen Drew.

The Yankees are still aiming to cut their payroll from $230 million to below $189 million, but they have several free agents and retirees of their own that will lower the payroll.

As has been previously reported, New York also likes Carlos Beltran, Shin-Soo Choo, Brian McCann and Masahiro Tanaka.
