The Texas Rangers have claimed Adam Rosales off waivers from the Oakland Athletics, the second time they have done so in the last 10 days.

During that period of time, Rosales also played one game for Oakland, which reclaimed him when he was designated for assignment by Texas on Aug. 5.

"Adam is a quality big league infielder," Jon Daniels said. "We've always liked the way he goes about the game, and the energy he brings. As our circumstances have changed over the past week or so, it changed our ability to carry him. We're glad to get a second chance at it."
