Matt Harrison is discussing a possible contract extension with the Rangers, but the left-hander didn't want to get into specifics.

Harrison was 18-11 with a 3.29 ERA in 32 starts last season.

He is eligible for arbitration for two more seasons and made $2.95 million last year.

Harrison said that if something isn't done before the season, he'd likely prefer to wait until after the season and talk again next winter.
