The Phillies have agreed to terms with John Lannan, who figures to be their fifth starter, according to a sources.
The deal is reportedly worth $2.5 million over one season.
Ruben Amaro Jr., recently said the club was looking for a low-risk, high-reward starter to replace Vance Worley, who the Phillies shipped to Minnesota in the Ben Revere trade.
