Matt Bush has agreed to a plea bargain in his DUI hit-and-run case that includes a prison sentence of at least three years on top of time already served, according to a report.

Bush was drafted by the Padres with the first overall pick in the 2004 Major League Draft.

"He's taking it pretty good," Daniel Bush, Matt's father, told the Tampa Bay Times. "He's not crying or sulking. He's preparing for it. Everybody in our family is backing him up."
