Josh Hamilton met with Mariners officials on Sunday night, according to sources.

Two weeks ago, Jack Zduriencik downplayed Seattle's chances of signing Hamilton, saying, "You have to be realistic about how you’re going to allocate your dollars."

Hamilton is believed to have met with other teams as well, while the Rangers work hard to re-sign him, the sources added.
