The Tigers are interested in trading for Cleveland's Asdrubal Cabrera, according to ESPN's Jim Bowden.

"Several teams are pursuing shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera, including the Arizona Diamondbacks, Detroit Tigers and Oakland Athletics. If any one of those teams puts together the right package of young starting pitching, it might be able to pry him loose," Bowden writes.

Detroit has also shown interest in Stephen Drew.
