The Braves spent Thursday afternoon and part of the evening courting B.J. Upton at Turner Field.

Frank Wren and Fredi Gonzalez both took part in the meeting as Atlanta tried to convince Upton to sign with the team as a free agent.

Upton is expected to eventually receive a deal in the neighborhood of $75 million over five years.
